Can you pleas write back to me and explain to me how to make a web site.
I think you and your dad are very clever making your own web site.
Hello Matthews parents, I really enjoyed your site, and it bought back alot of memories for me, I too, lost my son Jereme to cancer on the 29th July 1996, so I recognized alot of people from your pictures, Jereme had non-hodgkins lymphoma with a CNS relapse, I lost him 9 months after he was diagnosed. I wish you love and peace, I know the road your on, you never forget, but time helps the pain to get a little easier.
I am devastated to find out that Matthew lost his long and extremely brave battle. It's hard to know what to say at a time like this. I have a daughter who is 6 and a son who is 3, and could not begin to imagine what it would be like to lose one of them. I hope that Matthew has left many happy memories of the lovely little boy that he was with you all. Matthew will forever be in your hearts and I will pray that over time life will get a little easier to live without Matthew.
wishing all the familys that have lost
family to this disease a very merry

So many people around the world have been touched by your special little man. He is now with the angels. My families thoughts are with you. Love Jayden xxxxxxx
I am 53 years of age and in remission with acute myloid leukemia. I was diagnosed with this disease last May and it started with Pre-Myloiddisplacia. It turned in Acute Myloid Leukemia and I had to enter the hosptital with 4 months of Chemo, blood and platelets. If it was not for my wonderful friends and my positive attitude I would not have made it. I am in remission now and I hope I stay in remission. Any feedback on staying in remission I would appreciate. Thank you for letting me sign your guest book.

I have no concept of what you are all going thru but my thoughts are with you. Matthew passed away on the same date as my wedding so each year I am sure I will remember this little angel.

Read your story Mathew. Your a little soldier who I believe will not only win the battle, but who will also win the war. I can relate. My grandson has been down the same path as you, but with a different illness. He too is winning the battle, and I believe will eventually win the war.
Our hearts go out to u and your family.
We can only imagine the pain and suffering that went with matthew's illness. You all showed tremendous courage and absolute love and devotion to Matthew. I hope u can move on with your lives with Matthew in your hearts forever.

I am a lymphoma cancer survivor and an honoree for team in training as well as a Leukemia Lymphoma Society member. I have been so excited at the statistics of the drastic decrease in death rates for childhood leukemia. I am so very sorry that Matthew was not among the lucky survivors. He was a brave little soul and my heart goes out to all of his love ones. His presence will be missed without a doubt but you can never take away the memories and the love in your hearts for those whom we have lost.
Sincerely,
Lynn Spiller

Dear Matthew's Family,
I am 15 years old. I send my deepest condolences to your family. Matthew is free of pain and sits on a cloud watching over and praying for you. I have been following Matthew's story for a while now and I am just so emotional. Matthew has touched me so deeply, even though I have never met him. He is at peace now. I had a close friend who was like a mother to me and took me to and from school every school day at Primary School. Sadly she lost a 3 year battle with Leukemia in April this year. This just shows us how short life is. Matthew was loved by many around the world, especially his family and friends. Rest In Peace and free of pain Matthew.

A sorrow so deep is everlasting, as is Mathew's smile, determination and the love he had for his family and from his family. I never met Mathew personally (which is my loss), but I know the loss of a child, and my children know the loss of a sibling. My Prayers are with you all.

Dear Matthew,
I wish you to be happy where you are...
May you fly as high as a bird and forget all the pain you went through.

Wanted to send my deepest condolences. I run with Team and Training to help fight nasty diseases like leukemia and also to help alleviate some of the pain. I know what Matthew had to endure as I had leukemia when I was his age but managed to rid it. I am now 29 and have not had a relapse but I will help fight for the others who are less fortunate.
Sincerely
Anne Solomon
I am a member of Team in Training and

On 10/9/95 my son Brynn was diagnosed with ALL. On 7/7/98 Brynn was given a bone marrow transplant. His 5 year old sister Ashleigh donated her stem cells. The transplant did succeed but on the 13/10/99 Brynn relapsed for the 2nd time. Tradically we lost Brynn on the 1st February 2000. We are all trying to heal the loss and emptiness of a beautiful, placid, special little man. Our family wish you all well and hope and pray everything turns positive for your family and Matthew.

I have twin boys 3 1/2 years old and the younger twin Joshua has Cataracts on his eyes which will need to be operated on to remove his lenses and replace with artificial. I was really worried about him but your courage has been a real encouragement. God can heal.

We used to live in Dulwich Hill three houses from your father's parents and we knew your father when he was quite young. Also your grandmother told us about your condition at the very beginning. We were very concerned about you and your family. We are so pleased to read of your improvement. We did meet you and Kayla one day and we hope to see you in the future. Could you give Grandma a message for me please? Tell her I am writing to her VERY SOON.
Matthew, we will keep reading your web page to keep up to date with your progress.

Dear Matthew,
My name is Deborah. I have 2 children - Alexander is 14, and Imogen is 4. Imogen just loves Hi-5, and this is how I found your web-site, when I was looking for Hi-5.
I used to work in the cancer ward at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, but that was a very long time ago - Alex was a little bit younger than you. I nursed lots of children like you, and they are all very brave little people. I know that you must also be very strong - it's not easy to go through what you have. I hope you are keeping well at the moment, and that you continue to improve.
Lots of love, hugs and kisses,
Deborah.XOXOXOXOXOXO
Hi Matthew! My name is Katy and I am turning 4 years old in September. We like a lot of the same things! I really like Hi-5, my favourites are Nathan and Kathleen. I like to sing and dance along to all the songs. I also really love Toy Story, and I got a Toy Story showbag at the Easter Show, just like you! I can't decide whether I like Woody or Buzz the best. I go to kindy two days a week and I like to draw and paint when I get there. I thought I would say hello because my daddy is sick with cancer, and even though I don't really know what it must be like for you, I know I don't like it when my daddy has to go to hospital. It is really hard sometimes, but I am lucky that my family loves each other very much, and it looks like your family loves each other a lot too! I really hope you are feeling better soon. Maybe we might see each other at a Hi-5 or Wiggles concert! Lots of love from Katy (and her mum, Maxine)
Hello Matthew. I was searching the Net for today, for something on Hi5 for my kids and came across your web site. One of my children is also called Matthew and he is 4. Yes I did cry - but they are happy tears now that you are so much better.
Love and kisses

What a beautiful sight. It is good to see you doing so well at the moment Matthew. I also like the precision driving team - although I have only seen them when they used to drive Commodores. I loved Kayla's purple hair at the show - maybe I could get mine that colour! I am a nanna to a lovely little girl named Maddison - she will be 4 in July and like you she loves Hi-5, the Wiggles - in fact we went to see them last year and she loved them - and Winnie & Tigger. Hello Matthew, I viewed your website tonight and you are always smiling. What a brave little boy you are. May God bless you and keep you safe.
Dear Matthew and Parents,
I have followed Matthew's progress for nearly six months now, since I first found his website. Matthew is an amazing, inspirational and obviously very well-loved little boy. I had an idea, which I wanted to share with you, for you to share with those you know who could make this happen if it is not already. Beyond financial donations and funding, what is really needed for the Cordal Blood Bank is cord donations. I think it would be a really effective communication tool, if all consulting GP's or obstetricians counselled the pregnant women in their care of the uses and need for umbilical cord donations. I think this could really increase the number donated, to increase the possibility of finding a match for children in need.
Hey Matthew, I think you are a brave boy, I am 6, and like you have been in and out of hospital since I was 3. I had a menongical reaction to a severe dose of CHICKEN POX. Stay Cool and Have fun, nice talking to you. from Stephanie. xxx.
Thanks Mathew for reminding me to pop down to the blood bank.
I am glad my meagre donations of kind are useful
Hope you live life to its fullest despite your situation ,,,, U know what I mean.
Love
I think your a very boy little boy and keep getting better
Hey Matt, u seem to be doing great, and I know that u'll continue doing better.
Matthew is a very lucky boy to have the support and loving attention of his family through his time of struggle.
Matthew is a very brave little boy and I wish him all the best of luck in the future.
I was amazed that a boy of your age
could be so strong. My best wishes to
your recovery and to your family.I know from
experience that it is a emotionally challanging experience
Someone very close to me has undergone
the same thing, but things did not go as
well as what they seem to have had for
you. I wish you and your family all the best
Keep up the courage Matthew
Good luck Matthew

Hi Matthew
It was great to see your sight today. My son Andrew is having his
16th birthday on Thursday (20/04). He has AML too. He first had it
when you was just five and had an auto transplant. He was well for
nearly five years and then he relapse. Then he had a transplant using
an unrelated donor. That was in January 1995 when he was just 10. He
is very well and keeps getting better all the time. This year he is
in year 10 at school and doing very well, even after all his treatments
and missing lots of time from school.

survivor you are.

Hi little Matthew.I just had a look again at your website and I think you and dad are doing a great job. Today Karen and I did some music with some of the kids in the ward. We played the drums really loud, then played the bells nice and soft. When we finished we cooked some delicious pancakes.I ate some teddy bear biscuits the other day, and guess what I thought about you - remember when we had the Teddy Bears Picnic in your transplant room. That was a lot of fun. I send lots of cuddles to you and Karen and Sandra also say hello. Love Cathy

DEAR Matty,
hi my name is jackie coe of condobolin.
i do not have leukaemia so i'ii cut the crap by not telling you that i know what your going through because i don't.
as a matter of fact the only reason i visited this site is because my teacher made me do it.
But i am actually glad i did because it's very interesting.
I did not realise that you where only 4 so i know now that you will probably never read my message to you but crapp
happens to me all the time.
I realise now just how lucky i am to have my full health behind me and not to have suffered from leukaemia or anything like that
as amatter of fact the only major thing that i had ever suffered from was measles when i was seven.
anyway your your story has touched me more deeply than anything that i have read before although i still do not understand
fully so i couldn't image just how sick you are all i know is that it would be worse than drinking a bottle ofbourban or rum straight
well bye.
jackie coe
mat how are you going,i dont have much to say but i'll tell you about some stuff about me (Liam) i have a nintendo 64 with 2 games goldeneye 007 and wrestlemania 2000 and i also like wrestling wwf my favourite wrestler is stone cold steve austin good bye
I'm in Science class at the moment. We
are doing a research project on bones
and diseases that affect them. I'm 14
but that's not really important. I heard
you like Hi-5. This might sound stupid
but I do too! I watch the TV show when
I don't have to go to School.
I gotta go, we have to write some stuff
down.
See ya! -Sarah
Hi , Iam in my science class learning about diseases in the skeletal system

Matthew I hope you will recover soon
my wishes are with you.
I think it's very sad that such a young person has to go through all the pain and suffering that you've gone through. I wish you luck in a full recovery
I think this is an amazing story. We really loved it. We send our sympathy to anyone who has to go through this.
Hi! Hope that you are feeling alright.
Me and my science class are learning about
bone diseases. That is why I visited your site.
